Welcome to Center United Methodist Church

Center United Methodist Church, established in 1796, is located in rural Yadkin County about five miles west of Yadkinville. For many years, it was the largest church in Yadkin County. Center Church continues to be a vital part of the community and is recognized for its ministry and missions.

Center Church has a strong missional presence in the community, being active in community projects, leading programs that benefit the people of the community, and providing non-church activities that draw a wide range of people to the community of faith.

Center UMC continues a tradition of strong inter-generational worship, caring for the people of the community in which we live, and seeking to reflect the light of Jesus in our daily living.

"Jesus at the Center" is the mission/vision of Center UMC.  We center in Christ by practicing the Means of Grace –reflecting and experiencing God's grace that calls all to discipleship.  These means of grace include Bible study, both corporate and private, prayer, good works, Holy Communion, and following the model Jesus set before us.
